Just two weeks into the expedition, The North FaceŽ Cho Oyu Trilogy team made the difficult decision to suspend the project. The ambitious multisport expedition planned to combine high-altitude alpinism, endurance running, mountain biking and snowboarding in the Khumbu region of the Himalaya. However, a sudden decision by the Chinese government to close the Tibetan border foiled the team’s plans.
