Take your Running Club membership to the next level with a Performance Membership. The North Face Endurance Challenge events present a serious test to even the most experienced runners. With a Performance Membership, you receive tailored training programs and group coaching from Carmichael Training Systems (CTS) that help build the required skills, strength, and endurance necessary to complete The North Face Endurance Challenge Washington, DC race. Performance Membership includes all the benefits of Flight Membership as well as a complimentary Washington, DC Endurance Challenge race entry, detailed training calendar corresponding to the specific distance you are registered for, live and remote access to experienced CTS coaches, group training sessions, a 9-week nutrition plan and much more. Runners will be able to store bags with The North Face store managers during the group run. Performance Members will split off with CTS coaches from Flight Members during Endurance Challenge training weeks.

Saturday Group Runs - Performance Members Only:
Location varies from week to week. Washington, DC course scouting trips will be scheduled at various times throughout the program.

Each week’s schedule will be emailed to club members every Tuesday afternoon. This email will include meeting times, location changes, and tips to prepare you for each training run.

Meet the Performance Members' Coach:   ELYSE BRANER

Multi Sport and Endurance Event Coach

Multi Sport and Endurance Race Training
Elyse's biggest passion in life is running and working with athletes of all abilities. She is a Boston Marathon qualifier and has been a competitive runner for the past eleven years and has raced distances from the 200m to the marathon. Elyse is currently focusing on the marathon, and will be racing the Philadelphia Marathon this November, which will be her fifth. She ran cross country at Smith College, where she was varsity captain for two years. Elyse is currently the President of the Washington Running Club, where she organizes race teams and events for both the casual and competitive runners. Through her work as a Coach for Girls on the Run, Elyse shares her passion for running with elementary school students by helping them develop healthy attitudes and sportsmanship for successful training and racing. Additionally, Elyse writes a column for the popular trail running website www.irunfar.com.
