At 10:54 a.m. on October 18, two-time World Champion Freeskier Kit DesLauriers reached the summit of Mount Everest. Moments later, she stepped into her skis and pushed off, becoming the first person to ski from the Seven Summits, the highest point on each of the seven continents. Kit’s account of her global quest is a tale of seven pinnacles and many ups and downs in between. “Dare to fail,” beckons Kit, “and don’t let your dreams be dreams.” |

The Seattle headquarters is located in the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood, approximately three blocks from the Seattle Center and Space Needle.
From I-5
Take the Mercer St/Seattle Center exit. Follow the signs to the Seattle Center. After you pass the Space Needle, turn right onto Denny Way. After about four blocks Denny curves to the right and changes name to Western Ave. After the curve, go three more blocks and turn right on Third Ave West. Our building is on the right (northeast) corner.
From 99 Southbound
Take the Denny Way exit and turn right onto Denny Way. Continue on Denny as you pass the Space Needle on your right. After about four more blocks Denny curves to the right and changes name to Western Ave. After the curve, go three more blocks and turn right on Third Ave West. Our building is on the right (northeast) corner.
Bus Information
From downtown, take bus #'s 1,2,13,15 or 18 to reach the Seattle Center. Bus #'s 19, 24 and 33 will take you along Denny and stops between 2nd West and 3rd West. Bus #8 stops in Queen Anne, to and from Capitol Hill.
