The North FaceŽ booth at ISPO China Winter 07

The 3rd ISPO China Winter 2007 attracts over 12,000 trade visitors

The North FaceŽ prominent exhibitor at quality outdoor sportswear show in Beijing

For several years, The North FaceŽ has had a prominent presence at the International Tradeshow for Sports, Fashion and Lifestyle Brands, better known as ISPO China Winter. ISPO has long history as a brands-driven and selective business platform with a strong emphasis on quality outdoor sportswear brands. The focus of the show is on information and on the development and growth of sporting goods retailing in Asia. The most recent edition of the show, on the theme of "winter" was held from March 14 to 17, 2007 at the National Agricultural Exhibition Center in Beijing. Display space was fully booked.

ISPO China has become firmly established in the exhibition calendar, providing an excellent setting for exhibitors. Total exhibition space at ISPO China Winter 07 was again 16,500 square meters, displaying the best in winter and snow sports products. The show received over 12,000 trade visitors, coming mainly from the Asia-Pacific region, and 300 brands from 20 countries exhibited. The North FaceŽ occupied one of the largest booths.

This year, at the new venue in Beijing, The North FaceŽ booth offered greater room - 162 square meters - and had "Snowy Mountain" as its design theme. The booth incorporated an area for showcasing the wide variety of The North FaceŽ products, ranging across sportswear, equipment, backpacks and ascentials, plus a tent-themed discussion area. Meanwhile, an eye-catching big red TNF logo cube could be seen at the main entrance, while both inside and outside the exhibition centre ISPO staff wore distinctive The North FaceŽ red jackets and logo caps.

In the course of the 2007 show, where the company was a key exhibitor, The North FaceŽ gave 28 media interviews at its booth. The North FaceŽ also participated in the twice-daily ISPO China Fashion Show.

In collaboration with Gore-tex brand, The North FaceŽ sponsored the show's Outdoor Experiencing Park Activity, where visitors were able to try out or test the company's products there and then.

Participation in ISPO China Winter is expected to help The North FaceŽ achieve its aim of serving what is expected to be an important and growing market for outdoor sportswear and equipment in Beijing and in North China in general.
